She'll never admit to the fic, but that's because it's sexual, and you should be damn happy she's not out there finding her own "Edward"s and "Jacob"s to make that fic a reality. YDI for snooping. I know that technically you may have the 'right' to snoop, but personally I still feel that it's unfair to go through your daughter's personal things without her permission. The only reason I could just about understand it is if your daughter has done something serious in the past to cause you not to trust her (for example, drug use, or some other kind of illegal activity) and you're currently concerned about her safety. Assuming that's not the case, I think you should respect your daughter's wish for privacy, not go through her things, and try to encourage her to be open and honest with you so that if there is anything serious happening in her life, she knows she can come to you.

OP if you're disturbed by that, then why don't you cruise fanfiction.net, and click the twilight link. (I know it's there). You'll find shit from 13 year old girls that involve some weird ass bondage between Carlisle and Paul or whatever. I'm a 16 year old girl and, I'm not going to lie, I write fanfiction. (not about Twilight but to each their own). My dad doesn't snoop my stuff, and I don't snoop his. Cause he has stuff I know I don't want to see, and that I'd just like to pretend my dad doesn't do.

I don't think you should've been snooping on your daughter's computer anyways, it's an invasion of privacy. Every teen thinks about sex and has a sexual fantasy. I bet you did, but to call your daughter a freak is degrading her and it's really rude to call her that.
