Today, I was leading a tour of my university and saw a girl in ripped jeans and combat boots smoking a cigarette. I told her that she shouldn't be representing the school in such a manner. She shot back: "I'm a Presidential Scholar. Suck my dick, bitch." FML

Not your place to say anything. You need to leave people alone. You deserved it!

YDI for being so judgmental. People are allowed to dress and act however they please, even if you dislike it or you think it isn't appropriate. The girl PROBABLY shouldn't have reacted in such a way, but could you really blame her? Nobody likes to be insulted and even if you didn't mean to, you probably did insult her.

Ummmmmm. He wasn't being judgmental, really. It seems more like OP was just serious about his campus showing off job, with lots of school spirit. You know like saying the president shouldn't go overseas to represent our country in a speedo or something. (But OP, no one likes school spirit)

He should have known better than to mess with a girl in combat boots !!!

Fully representative of the dignity of the office of the President of the United States. Well, the current one, anyway.

OP got pwned by a Presidential Scholar for 800 gold...!

No you uncultured, bigoted, judgemental swine, YOU are not representing your school well.

She is a dick . Give her your middle finger is all

You guys are all forgetting about presentability and etiquette. I agree with OP because people need to be held more accountable. As for the smoking, it is her choice, but it's a very poor choice. If she is truly educated, then she should know enough to not smoke.

well then according to your logic none of us should be using this app because internet kills brain cells. and while we're on that matter, plastic causes cancer so you better stop drinking from water bottles. and alcohol is extremely bad for you, but that doesn't seem to stop people? education does not automatically mean you can't also make your own life choices. just because people know that beer is bad for you, or that big mac, or the plastic water bottle doesn't mean people are going to stop using or consuming those things.

We aren't forgetting about "presentability" because we're saying its bullshit. Listen I'm sorry you decide to judge people based on their appearance and you have an image of what any educated person should look like. If I was wearing khakis and a pink cardigan and a ponytail, would you be surprised to find out that I'm a disappointment? We all choose to do bad, but that doesn't mean we aren't educated.
