WOW...what an ass. I woulda dumped him right there on the spot. If he has to remind himself to lie to you about going out on a Friday night, then he aint b/f material. He shouldnt have to lie to you in the first place. What a dumbass. And I believe this. For those who are saying that this is a lie...you guys are dumb. If you have a decent phone (such as the iPhone) there is plenty to "watch" on it, those of you questioning watching his cell phone should understand it is completely usual because the technology has existed for some time now (don't keep up?). Also, some guys WOULD write something like that, it is absurd to think no guy would. But the case could be the girl is doing something wrong (such as being too clingy) and the guy feels he must lie to go out. So if this is the case, HE should dump HER.

Okay, I'm going to explain this to those of you who don't get the "Watch the phone" part. Those of you who get it, good job. On many phones you can now watch tv shows or news or stuff like that. You can also make vidoes on some phones. They might have been watching something like that when the message came up. BTW that guy is a retard if he has to set a REMINDER to lie to you.
