Today, I was lying on the sofa when the phone rang. I jumped up to answer in time. I knocked over my laptop, and kicked my guitar into a glass causing it to smash. It was a wrong number. FML

Today, my phone started ringing in the other room. I ran to go pick it up, tripped over my coffee table which gashed my leg, and knocked over my brand new 50" LCD TV, which broke over my head. Turns out it was a wrong number. FML

Today, I was daydreaming in bed when my phone rang from across the room. I scrambled out of my covers, tripped over a pair of boots I had by the bed, and slipped on some jeans laying on the floor. Luckily, I answered my phone in time, but only to have my mom tell me to clean my room before she got home. FML

Today, I was waiting at home for a phone call. While I was in the bathroom, the phone rang. I quickly stopped my business and ran out of the bathroom with my pants round my ankles. I leaped over the couch, tripping and then stubbing my toe while hopping to the phone. It was a telemarketer. FML

Today, I was in a music shop looking for a new guitar when someone called out someone else's name and jumped on my back. I lost balance and fell forward and broke 3 guitars and damaged another 6. The guy said "Sorry, thought you were someone else" and ran out. I now have to pay £2500. FML

Today, I got a text message. My phone was sitting on the edge of the bed and set on vibrate, so it fell off. I reached down to grab my phone and fell off the bed. My macbook landed on top of me. I fractured my arm and broke my laptop to read a text from facebook. FML

is answering a phone call really that big of a deal to you? so what if you don't answer in time, there's caller id and voicemail, or they could just call you back if it's that serious

You know, most phones come with these things called "Answering Machines". See, what they do is if you don't answer in time or are not home for the call, they will take the call and record it for you to listen at your earliest convenience. Believe it or not, when you fail to answer a call the caller does not get sucked into another dimension, so you don't have to run to the phone at Mach 6 anymore. YDI.

Picking up the phone is srs bz! Nah seriously, if the phone is too far i dont even care to pick it up.. i can allways call back.. and if expecting an important call, i keep it close and dont sit with a laptop and a guitar on top of me :P

well, it's not cos it happened. my guitar is now dinted and i had to throw the glass away, but thanks for saying i'm lying. and yeah, to the other guy ^ i am the one posted this.
