Today, I went on a fabulous date with a really cute, smart, funny guy. He only mentioned his dad, so when I asked about his mom, I asked if they were divorced. She'd died of breast cancer so I felt awful. Then I asked if his dad had ever remarried. His stepmom had died of cancer too. FML

Today, I went on a blind date, even though the whole concept freaks me out a bit. My date showed up with his sister, who sat at our table and critiqued everything we did, from how I chewed my food, to the way we nervously laughed. He hardly said a word the whole time. FML

He was talking about his SISTER. Boy-girl twins are always fraternal twins. You can only be identical if the twins are the same gender.

It's extremely rare and the result of genetic mutation. I just did a Google search. Less than 10 cases of identical boy and girl twins have been reported. It's safe to say 99.999% of boy and girl twins are not identical.

To the slow people here: 1) It is IMPOSSIBLE to have identical twins that are boy and girl; just think for a moment. 2) If you don't get it, OP just accidentally asked if the date was a woman. Don't worry, if he really is smart, he'll understand it was a mistake PS:) I am a twin as well.

As a fraternal twin myself, I cannot stand it when people are stupid enough to ask if my brother and I are identical. News flash: He is a BOY. I am a GIRL. People, if the twins you know are NOT identical, don't ask them if they are.
