Today, I went on a fabulous date with a really cute, smart, funny guy. He only mentioned his dad, so when I asked about his mom, I asked if they were divorced. She'd died of breast cancer so I felt awful. Then I asked if his dad had ever remarried. His stepmom had died of cancer too. FML

Today, I went on a blind date, even though the whole concept freaks me out a bit. My date showed up with his sister, who sat at our table and critiqued everything we did, from how I chewed my food, to the way we nervously laughed. He hardly said a word the whole time. FML

No it's not, not unless there was some sort of mutation during development. Identical twins have identical genetics, therefore they have to be the same sex (unless, like I mentioned, there is a mutation).

That's not a stupid questions. Twins are always either identical or fraternal. It doesn't matter if the gender, all that counts is which egg they were in.

59 She doesn't feel dumb for asking whether they were identical because they are identical. She feels dumb because knowing that they are twins and they are of different sexes they obviously have to be fraternal twins.
