Today, I was on a dinner date with a guy I really like. I guess I was on my phone too much because halfway through the date he sent me a text saying how much my half of the bill would be. FML

Today, I went on a date with this guy and he was on his phone the whole night. When I got home I checked his Facebook since he barely paid attention to me. His status was, "So-and-so is taking out the trash" from mobile posted an hour ago. I got home from my date 30 mins ago. FML

Today, I was on a date with a guy I've been crushing on. In the middle of the dinner, he said he had to go get something from his car. When I asked what it was, he smiled and said it was a surprise. I waited for my surprise for half an hour. Then I decided to pay the bill and go home and cry. FML

Today, I went on a date with a guy who seemed to be quite the gentleman. I was proven wrong when he told me to "shut it" during dinner, stiffed me on the bill, and then left me at the restaurant so he could get his own taxi home. FML

Today, I went on a date that went well, until the bill came and she quickly shoved it in my direction, then went to the loo. Rude, but I thought nothing of it… until our waiter took pity and told me I’m the fourth guy she’s had this week who'd been made to pay for her. I paid half, then went home. FML

If I am on a date, the first time she texts or answers what is NOT an emergency, I am gone. I get up and leave. I am not there to pay for someone else's dinner while they chat with someone else. Screw that!

Totally rude!! You clearly gave him no indication that you really like him. Imagine how he must have felt. Keep the phone stuff to a minimum next time ...with the next guy, or if you are lucky enough to get another date with him. Your phone should stay put away unless you are sharing pictures or something. You should really suck up to him and appologize if you want another chance with him. Otherwise, lesson learned for now.
