Today, I was on a plane returning to University, and I decided to shut my eyes. I opened them about 45 minutes later just as the plane landed to find I couldn't move at all. I was in sleep paralysis. The air hostesses had to lift me out of my seat. FML

I have that all the time, just wait until the monsters start to come while in sleep.

I can't even begin to imagine how awkward that would be.

Actually sleep paralysis is very common try to move your toes or fingers when it happens and you'll wake up. Try to keep a good sleep cycle going and it'll go away on its own like going to bed at a certain time everyday

This used to happen to me all the time when I was younger. Instead of dark scary figures or monsters though, spiders would be crawling all over me. I'd try to scream, but no sound would ever come out. Creepy as all hell, it still makes my skin crawl.

i have the same thing. goes with my narcolepsy

she had the strength to pick you up out of your seat??

falling asleep on a plane is wild bc you’ll have dreams that take place on land and then you’ll wake up and panic for a split second bc you’re like 10000 feet in the air lmao
