Soo, i mean what else are you gonna do, be like 'oh that kid has CP i can't block his shot?' i don't have a disabilty, but if i did, i don't think i would want people constantly letting me win becuase of it, it's not very fair, so as long as you weren't cocky about blocking the shot, or something like that, i think your okay
Everyone who is saying that people with Cerebral Palsy cannot lead normal lives need to STFU and do a little bit of research before you go insulting the disabled. Normally, I wouldn't be so angry and adamant about this, but it just so happens that I myself have mild spastic hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy and I can do anything that anyone else does (granted, I do it slower and some times it hurts, but I can still physically do it!) Like I said, a lot of physical activity hurts, so what some people tak for granted, like walking a mile, I see as a huge achievement. I had to wear a brace on my right leg for seven years and the doctors said I would never walk properly. Yet, I can now walk two miles with minimal pain. That being said, I would like to congratulate the OP. Even though he had not known that the boy had CP, he still treated him as an equal. People with disabilites really want to be treated the same as anyone else, which is why I usually don't tell people about my CP unless it's completely necessary. Oh, and number 84? Yeah, stop being an ignorant prick. Not all people with CP look and act different than everyone else. I have a slight limp, but other than that I am perfectly normal. So please just stop spewing utter nonsense. And number 83? Why should hanicapped people be treated differently? We're people, too, aren't we? Granted we do have limitations, which is why we get the special parking and benefits, but other than that we can live completely normal lives. Stop being ignorant and prejucided.
Good job cripple, you can walk 2 miles, congrats
I had a friend who had very very severe cerebral palsy as a result of a car accident, and I witnessed the type of treatment that you're talking about. People talked around her, and would ask me questions about how she was, due to the fact that she had a speech impediment that they thought it was too difficult for her to speak. They didn't know that they were actually hurting her feelings really really badly. There was one day when her mom thanked me for "being her friend" and I was upset that it was something she even felt like she had to thank me for.
**** you. He didn't know, idiot.
He didn't know..?
Its weird, I have cerebral palsy and when I played basketball, I didnt want people to treat me differently.
C'mon, guys. Stop hating on OP. He didn't know it!

I don't think you should feel bad. I'd be pretty upset if I had a disability and everyone played easy on me. That would just be humiliating!
You shouldn't feel bad, you didn't know and I don't see how YDI at all. Plus, the kid was probably happy everyone wasn't just going to let him do whatever.
