#64, you cant always tell if someone has CP. Mild CP has very little outward appearance, and is only slightly weakened muscles. I work with these kids everyday, and sorry, it bugs me that people make assumptions that all people with CP are noticeable and all have muscle spasms. Becasue that isnt true at all. read up on the condition before you make comments generalizing all CP people.
don't beat yourself up, you didn't know...just apologize to the kid and you won't feel so bad anymore.
#14: Sometimes I think that there are people who come here and hit YDI on everything just to try filling the hole in their atrophied hearts with the pain of others.
u pwnt him! :D
Do you think it would make him feel good about himself to have everyone blatantly tiptoe around him? At least you treated him like a real person, albeit unknowingly.

I don't think you should feel bad. I'd be pretty upset if I had a disability and everyone played easy on me. That would just be humiliating!
You shouldn't feel bad, you didn't know and I don't see how YDI at all. Plus, the kid was probably happy everyone wasn't just going to let him do whatever.
