Today, I was playing with my dog, teasing her, to cheer myself up after being dumped by my girlfriend. My dog bit me hard and I had to go to hospital. The dog has to be put down. FML

Learn some ******* reading comprehension idiot. Teasing a dog is normal play, though sometimes they're just not in the mood and they snap. Clearly, the dog snapped and the OP had to go to the hospital for stitches. I really doubt they went around town telling everyone their dog viciously attacked them.

If an animal attacks someone, depending on the circumstances and the area, some laws require the animal to be put down. It could have been ordered by the law to happen. :/

I think it's great you have a pit, I hate it when people demonize animals. I've never had one because my parents are one of those people but I'm probably going to get one when I move out, just to prove a point. XD

that's what you get for teasing your dog!

Poor dog!!! You mustve teased it pretty bad... For it to bite you so hard that u need stitches..?? I feel sorry for the dog not you..!

Y do u have to put something so depressing on this website? This is just sad.

I'd be curious as to what exactly this person means by "teasing". A relative of mine once "played" with my parents' English Mastiff by jumping into his gut. Knees first. His entire weight. Naturally the jackass got his face bit. We didn't have to put the dog down. On the flip side, some areas DO require, by law, that a dog that bites someone get put down. They may let it go with extenuating circumstances if the provocation was serious, but if the OP claimed he was only "teasing" the dog, they'd naturally assume he didn't mean the same kind of "teasing" that my relative meant. But in my opinion, OP probably WAS "teasing" the dog the same way my relative did. Or more precisely, I think he's an animal abuser; he belongs in prison, and the dog belongs with the ASPCA.

I highly doubt that the dog has to be put down... And way to train your dog... Pretty sure u suck at life...
