Today, I was shaving my left armpit when I cut myself badly. I wondered whether or not it would be safe to shave my right armpit, then reasoned that it couldn’t possibly happen twice. It did. FML

Ouch! I've never cut my armpits before but I've cut my legs shaving numerous times, I can only imagine how painful that would be! Whenever I cut myself it's usually when I've put on a new razor blade, because the old one was fairly blunt it's easy to forget how sharp the new one is. I'd stay away from the deoderant for several days at least, not only would that sting but it probably wouldn't be very good for the healing process.

razor cuts aren't painful, I've cut my legs shaving loads of times and not noticed.

#68 It really depends on how deep the cuts are. There's a difference between a simple razor nick and a DEEP razor cut. I've gotten razor cuts so bad that strips of skin have gotten caught in the razor blade. ...Why yes, I am really bad at shaving.

maybe you could pluck the hairs out... i've heard some horror stories with epilators.. bits of skin getting stuck in them etc... but maybe with a pair of tweezers, would take ages, but at least no scars :)

It hurts the first few times (at least for me), but it's worth it because you don't have to wax as often as you would have to shave...

rash or not, you should never go a day without deodorant, for the sake of the people around you. sometimes when you shave it hurts to put on deodorant, especially for op with the cuts, but it's worth it.

Use a Schick razor with the guard lines going across the razor. I love them! no more cuts! :)

Been there, done that. :/ I've accidentally cut myself with my razor on my legs so many times that I have scars.

It happens. I don't think I've met one person who hasn't cut themselves while shaving. Be careful next time, that's all.

I've honestly never cut myself from shaving, gotten razor burn on my face from dry shaving before, but not cut myself
