Today, I was sick and had soccer trials on the same day. At the soccer trials, the coach called me over and told me I was doing really good and to keep it up. I said thanks and vomited on him. FML

Why is everyone saying that OP is showing true dedication and everything? I think it's foolish to try out for anything if you're sick. Your life wouldn't be screwed up because you didn't make a sports team that won't matter in five years. You should have stayed home and gotten well. Plus, you could have exposed the coach and the whole team to the virus.

you probably shouldnt make assumptions that it wouldnt matter to the OP in five years. what if they are trying to get a career out of soccer, & this was one of the best teams to go through? you just dont know from the little amount of information given.

Actually your kinda wrong, this would matter in 5 years because it was premier league trials which is really important to footballers. This was me btw

well there was one thing he couldent keep up

Um....what a trooper. When you're well, you must rule the field. This said, as awkward as that was, I assume he sent you home and gave you a spot?

I had the same situation happened to me before. I passed out in front of my coach when she forced me to keep jumping the rope after I told her many times that I am not feeling well.

I feel your pain OP, I did the exact same thing, minus the puking on the coach. I'm sure he'll understand and respect your commitment
