Today, I was sitting at a bus stop and a guy stops in front of me and says "Oh very nice. How much?" I reply "You couldn't afford me." An old guy sitting next to me says "I bet I could" and puts his hand on my leg. I forfeited the bus and walked home in the rain. FML

Today, I was taking the bus home from work. As I was getting off an old man whistled at me, I told him to go to hell and got off the bus. When the bus drove away the old man stood in the back of the bus, holding up the wallet I left that he was trying to give to me. FML

Today, while sitting in a handicapped seat on the bus, an old man angrily approached me and chewed me out in front of everyone for not leaving the seat empty for "those who actually need it." Then he stormed off the bus, stepping heavily on my broken foot. FML

Today, I was on the bus, when an elderly woman stepped in. She looked too weak to stand. She looked at me with sad puppy eyes, expecting me to give up my seat for her. I felt sorry and got up. As soon as she sat down, she said, "Ha! Sucker!" FML

Today, I was riding the public bus and a really fat, smelly guy sat next to me. He put his arm around my shoulder and asked me if I was single. My stop wasn't for three more miles. FML

Today, on my way to school, I was shouted at by an obnoxious businessman for sitting down on the train when a "full fare paying passenger" was standing. I would normally have given him the seat straight away, except I have a broken leg. I showed him my leg and crutches. He still made me get up. FML

Today, I gave a homeless man my last bit of spare change so he could get on the bus. Just as I was about to get on too, I realized I'd lost my bus card. I had to get off the bus and watch as the man waved at me through the window. FML

Today, I missed my bus. I had to ride my bike 2 miles. Once I left, some jerk nearly hit me. I flipped him off and shouted obsceneties. It was my dad, offering me a ride. He left. FML

Why is everyone assuming that she was dressed like a street-corner *****? I have personally been asked how much for a *******: A) by a boy I'd never even talked to B) when I was in school trying to do my ******* homework C) while wearing slightly loose jeans and an oversize t-shirt (it was past time to do laundry). Yes, people can be jackasses even when they have no excuse for doing so. I'm not going to jump on the "all men are pigs" train, but assuming that men never ever say anything inappropriate or try to touch unless a woman is showing enough skin for a public indecency charge is such bullshit.

80 (thryun)-congratulations for being an idiot and one of the world's biggest problems, just because a woman is trying to make a point does not make her "trying to be oppressed" dumbfuck. that kind of mind set is what causes these out dated assumtions about women to be made, "She should know that she's gonna be seen as this and that if she wears this" i think YOU need to get over YOURSELF and your antiquated point of veiw, this is a new time and no matter what i woman (or any other ethnicity, race, sexuallity, whatever) has the right wear and act as they please as long as it is not physically harming another person. and don't try to use that ad hominem BS on me, i only singled owmen out because you did. i'm a chick, i'm not being oppressed nor do i oppress others, i expect to be respected whatever choice i make reguarding my wardrobe. and if you actually take the time to seek this out and respond to it, you are a bit on the pathetic side XD
