Today, I was sitting at home when I remembered that I desperately needed gas for my car. On my way there, I prayed that my car would make it the whole way, and was thankful when I pulled up to the pump, because I knew my car wouldn't go any further. Then I realized I left my wallet at my house. FML

ouchhhh. im curious what you did from there. definitely FYL

I keep my license in my wallet as a default ID, and if you go by the same logic, you drove without a license :/ Still sorry to hear, though.

At least you know your prayers get answered. I would have started praying for money, at that point. Oh wait, I don't pray for things.. Nevermind.

#1, I don't know where you're from, but where I live, you don't need your license on you at all times when you're driving. If you're stopped by the police and don't have it, you've got up to 7 days to show it at your local police station. Owch. Did you have any money in your car? I would've begged, to get just enough money to run home and get your wallet. Or call someone to bring it to you. Next time don't let your petrol run down so low.

#1 and 40, both good advice. My wallet always stays in my vehicle unless I need it specifically (shopping) and I keep a spare hundred and medicine in my truck that I keep in case of emergency.

I can really picture myself doing this.

Definitely something I would do.

#24, I'd assume they're from the US where you do need your license on you whenever you drive. The fact that you call it "petrol" shows me that you're not from the US, so that's why the laws are different.

oh shit! that sucks.. keep some cash in the car ..like $10 or something at least.

moral of the story: praying does shit ~athiestpride~
