LMAO at #8 and #96. I dont think you could have hit THAT hard to crack a windshield, as they are hard to break. Now, if a person hit the windshield at the same time, now that, I would believe. YDI, and really not an FML.

I still don't know how they broke the windshield, but it's not quite as hard as people say. I cracked one with a cell phone once... Anyway: for the friend whose windshield it was, it would have been better to make the person who broke it pay the money for the windshield than contacting their insurance. They would have had to have paid a deductible that would probably have been more than the windshield itself, and their premiums would have gone up from it.

I have seen windshields crack from smacking bugs or what-have-you. Shame on whoever owned the car for not having insurance- windshields are covered 100%.
