Today, I was supposed to give a presentation to the incoming freshman about the dangers of drinking in college. My co-presenter showed up drunk. FML

I'm sure this is somewhere up there, but you consider it a FML when the seminar that your college arranges simply as a way to defend against wrongful death lawsuits gets screwed up? Get a clue, and a drink. Preferably a strong, large one.

umm yeah you can.. its called man slaughter... or if someone thought about killing someone first... planned it then got drunk to calm their nerves before they did the killing they could be convicted of first degree murder... sooo.. get your facts straight before you start bashing someone elses...

I would just like to inform YOU that it is YOU who is mistaken about FACTS. The FACT of the matter is, the law exlicitely states that being under the influence of alcohol is no excuse nor is it a valid reason for anything that you do illegal. It IS murder if you kill someone when their drunk, a person might luck up and get manslaughter, but just because someone is drunk does NOT excuse them from the responsibility of killing anyone...at ALL. Fact is, even in regards to confessions from intioxicated people are accepted. If a person is mirandized and they are too drunk to realize it, thats too bad for them. The confession stands, because again, being drunk is not an excuse for anything that you do. IF a person rapes someone, its rape, regardless if they were drunk during it or not. I do not necessarily agree with what proud liberal said, as a matter of fact, I really don't at all, but if you are going to refute the incompetence of a person, at least do it with a credible response.

WOW! That sounds like something that would happen to me. Except I'd be the co-presenter and stumble in, while slurring the different reasons why drinking is bad. And then I'd end up rallying the Germans, Irish, Mexicans, and Russians together and we'd all pow-wow at the beach with the keg.
