For the love of ******* God, people... Mobile phones = Cell phones. What's so wrong about it anyway? Seriously, if you clicked YDI just for that kind of thing, be proud: I'm a grammar nazi and I find that ridiculous. Still, I'm european so...
This is why no one should use that stupid and untrue expression.
Alright, to those of you who say "who calls it a mobile?" or clicked YDI for calling it a mobile: It's mainly just North Americans who call them cell phones. Anywhere in Europe, it's a mobile phone. Technically it makes more sense than "cell phone" because it's a phone that can be taken ANYWHERE so therefore it's "mobile". (And a cordless landline doesn't count as a mobile phone because it can't be taken anywhere, there's a limit to how far the signal reaches). Clicking YDI for the OP using the word "mobile" instead of "cell" is like clicking YDI if I posted something and spelled "color" like "colour" or "favorite" like "favourite" because I'm Canadian and we spell those words with "u"s in them. Thanks. =)
this isnt a fml. you sound like a loser.
ok, saying mobile is a more british expression BRITISH PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE TOO. as for myself, i believe that the remark at the end was snide "i guess i was wrong." @#29 #24 was paraphrasing the intent of what people said, learn to read deeper.
