Gotta say, this touches on one of my pet peeves. SHUT THE **** UP when you're on a cell phone. You're an idiot who doesn't know how phones work if you're constantly screaming into it. If everyone around you can hear your conversation, your cell phone skills fail.

just because it's not an FML doesn't mean it's a YDI either, people. this website makes people look completely heartless, as though everyone else is perfect and for someone to make a mistake grants the "YDI" so what, because this person didn't look all around to see if in fact a lady with burns on her face was nearby before saying to his/her friend 'time heals all wounds' s/he deserves feeling bad? or is it that s/he allowed hirself to be a victim, so s/he deserved it?

This is rude, My best friend's mother burned her face when she was a child and I think she is the most beautiful lady in the world. She is full of life and would never dream of changing her face for the world. I don't think your story should have ever been published. I'm greatly offended and not just for her but for the lady you have written about as well.

who do you think you are? u needy bitch...u think by being a jerk people will like you. but look, you were a jerk and STILL no one likes u. i was burned in a car explosion this past summer and almost died. you are a bitch for saying "guess i was wrong" bc people with burns are beautiful outside and inside (unlike you). so y dont you get a life, realize the world doesnt revolve around ur pathetic self, learn up on burn victims and learn to know what we've been through. You should be embarassed for writing this and ur reaction, and u should feel terrible for that poor lady. i hope that this greatly affected you and maybe a heart may form sometime inside of you in ur lifetime
