Today, I was talking to my only grandson about how I was going to the dentist to get my teeth fixed and how it was going to cost a lot of money, he replied saying "Who cares, you're going to die soon anyways". FML

Today, while at a family reunion, I jokingly asked my 18-year-old son, "When are you and your girlfriend going to give me a grandson?" He then retorted, "When are you going to die?" I was unable to answer at all. FML

Today, while chatting with my in-laws, I told them about my upcoming spinal surgery. Soon after, when I went to get us some drinks, I overheard them murmuring about how many surgeries I've already had, how I'm a drain on the healthcare system, and how I should ideally just die. FML

If he's still young, as in 7 or under, he probably doesn't know what he was saying and how hurt you would be. If he was older than that, his parents need to start teaching him manners. If he's an adult, just smack him.

How old was he? If he was like, 4 years old, or very young, he wouldn't know better. But if he was kind of old, (10, 15, etc) then he's a total asshole. Either way, FYL.
