Today, I was told that I don't meet the minimum requirements for a job I applied for. I currently hold the same job, at the same facility, but just wanted a day shift. Apparently I'm not qualified for the job I've had for 2 and a half years. FML

13, Hard to believe. Plenty of slackers who I know, show up tardy, leave early, take longer breaks & only work efficiently when necessary, & they claim that they're outstanding employees & therefore should be allowed to do what they want. The best don't usually say they are, their work status & ethic usually show it.

well when a job becomes open they usually open applications for it up to the public even if a Temps been there for years. they find someone more qualified then tell you you're under qualified since its nicer than saying we found someone better. it's pretty common

Don't feel too bad. My boss told me I wasn't good enough after I'd been there for 3 years. And I wasn't even applying for a different shift.
