You gotta start somewhere. Just think of all the people who haven't even started yet. You already doing better than them! :)
Honestly you're just seriously deconditioned. If you keep at it you'll likely see a spike in endurance within about a month. I'm in horrible shape right now because I was putting 60 hours a week into graduate school. Start off with daily walking, for one hour. Work up to a daily total of about 10,000 steps, which is about 7-8km depending on how big your steps are. One morning walk, one evening walk should be about that much. Walking is low-intensity compared to other things, but it will melt fat off of your bones if you do it.
Geez dude, but at least you're going to the gym just keep being determined
Keep it up. You will be knocking out the routine in no time. Keep working hard
My Aunt is over 50 and trains for the iron man... It's a bit scary, especially when it's hard for me to just run around the block. XD Keep up the exercising, you'll get there!
Firstday is always hardest... It will get better
Maybe the 50 year-olds regiment is if they've worked out their whole life?
Well you gotta start somewhere.

The fact that you're even trying to exercise already puts you ahead of most people.
That's because you have to wait until you're 50 in order to do it.
