Hey, at least you're making an effort! Better than most! I know your pain, though. While volunteering at a senior center, my friends and I were invited to do some jazzercise-type work out with the seniors. We were all in our mid-20s and absolutely got our butts kicked!

Definitely keep trying. Work a little at it everyday and eventually you'll be in the right shape to do the workout. Working out isn't easy, so don't feel bad op!

Hang in there OP, you'll be kicking 50 year old ass in no time.

I've just started a program designed for couch potatoes that steps things up a level each week, it's taken me a couple of weeks to even get to the first stage! But I'm getting better each time, I haven't injured myself, passed out or given up yet. It's worth persevering with at your own pace :)

Everybody has to start somewhere :) just like people in their 20's can be unfit, people in their 50's can be just as fit as anyone in their 20's. It just takes some persistence :)

the first month kinfa sucks, but after that it actually gets kinda fun. especially once you start getting results.
