Today, I was waitressing for a huge family. Their bill was $750. Excited about the tip, I was shocked to see only $0.50. As they were leaving, I threw the two whole quarters at their heads. Guess who also got fired today. FML

they probably should've left a better tip, but at the same time you can't throw quarters at a customers head and not expect to be fired.

Downvote me all you want, but I totally understand where OP is coming from. Customer service is such a thankless job, and after a while it usually leaves me screaming bloody murder when I get home. It was probably a bad idea to throw the quarters, but I would've felt just as pissed, especially if the customers were huge pricks, and they usually are.

186 - You really think its so easy? try running my ten table section without messing anything up. you'd fail miserably. just like any other job, it takes skill and a lot of it if you're good. you'd rather tip the chef who gets paid 10 times as much as the server who made sure everything was perfect? go kill yourself.
