Today, I was walking down the street and while stopped at a light, this old man waved at me. Thinking nothing of it, I walked through a parking lot to get to where I was going, where he not only followed me, but mistook me for a prostitute. It was 5pm. FML

Today, while I was waiting at the bus stop, a car that looked like my mom's pulled up. Thinking it was actually her, I walked up and jokingly asked what she was into. The guy inside now thinks that I'm a prostitute. FML

A few turns later, I pulled into the car park and noticed the other driver following me. She works in the office next to mine. We met the other day. FML

Eww, I feel your pain. Unfortunately, I have had a similar thing happen to me and it is really gross. And to all you idiots saying stop dressing like a ****: I was wearing a long skirt and a white tank top (not low cut) when it happened to me, so clothes oftentimes aren't even the issue - it is the pervy old men. I'm sorry, but I am not going to walk around in an over sized turtleneck and baggy sweatpants in 80+ degree weather. And I shouldn't have to.

I'm 13 (wow shocker a 13 yr old in FML somebody call the authorities) and some of the clothes girls my age wear are really slutty. I mean I wear tank tops in the summer but short shorts I don't walk out of the house without wearing leggings underneath them.

okay but does that mean universally all females wear that type of clothing? No. Also their choice to wear it shouldn't mean men are allowed to automatically sexualize us. Men should be taught not to automatically assume a woman is a **** based on clothes and women shouldnt harass other women for it.
