Today, I was watching a movie in the basement with my boyfriend when we started to get a little frisky. My mom walks down with dirty laundry and tells him to stop it because I'm creaming all over my undies. She showed him a pair of dirty ones to prove it. FML

I guess u will start doing ur own laundry , but If she does that in front of ur bf imagine what she says or does behind ur back FYL

Why does she wash your undies in the first place?

Why is your mom still doing your laundry?

if you're old enough to have your boyfriend over your house, then you're old enough to do your own laundry.. YDI

OP, the lesson here is as follows: Do your own damn laundry if you're old enough to fool around with a boyfriend!

To those who're saying YDI 'cause OP isn't washing her own undies - seriously? I'm both old enough and capable of doing my own washing, but I still send it through with the rest of the family because it saves water. And I also think it was tactless of OP's mum to do what she did. Sure, I know it's her house...but still...I think there's some things that should be spoken about privately (as in OP's mum to her...not OP's mum to her bf)

I agree that the mom was completely tactless, but also agree that if she'd been doing her own damn laundry it wouldn't have happened. My mom started me doing my own laundry when I was 7 years old. Even if your whole family does one big load of everyone's whites at once, there's no reason your mom should have to root through your slimy crotchgarments every week to do so. Separate your own laundry, spend 1 minute (le gasp!) of your time to carry them downstairs and dump them in the machine when laundry time is called. Or just put them in a basket down there so when she does come down to do it, all she has to do is tip them in. And what's with the bit about saving water? At the end of the week you should have enough for a full load all by yourself, if it looks a bit sparse there are these handy little things called 'settings' you can use to reduce the water consumption for smaller loads. And if it still looks like you're wasting space, look around your room. When was the last time you washed your pillowcases? How many times have you dried yourself off with that towel since the last time it was run through? There's always something. Seriously, this girl's a freaking teenager. This is the age when you need to teach them to grow up and take responsibility for their lives, not sit on their ass while their parents do their chores for them.
