Today, working at a fast food restaurant, I was berated by a customer for a good two minutes. It's okay though because she ended with, "Sorry, I forget you all are real people." FML

Today, while checking out a couple at work, I handed them their receipt and wished them a good day. The woman promptly pulled her husband to the side, and whispered to him about how much of a "fucking idiot" I was for making the prices so high. I work at McDonald's. FML

Today, I saw a man help an elderly lady with her tray at the local McDonald's. I wanted to do something nice for him, so I added a couple extra nuggets in his meal. He later came up to me and told me I was dumb and didn't know how to count, and that was why I was working at McDonald's. FML

Don't take it personally op, people don't have the courage to vent there uncalled for anger out on the general public. They have to pick on defenceless employees, don't sweat it he most likely got rear ended behind a truck later that day while you was snacking on a big mac:)

I worked part time at McDonald's for two years and I encountered quite a few rude people there. I try my best to be nice to employees at food and other service jobs, because I know what it's like to have to be polite to others when the other person is a jerk.
