Today, I watched a movie with my little sister. I couldn't understand a word that was said during one scene, but I figured it was in some kind of made-up language. When I commented on it later, she called me a moron and said it was Spanish. FML

#28- You have no faith in your generation why? Is it because you think that the mexicans and spanish are one day going to take over the world and make spanish the universal language, and then your generation is going to be lined up and shot because they can't speak it? Good luck getting any support out of your peers for that nonsense.

69, I'm pretty sure he has no faith in his generation because so many people in it (like the OP) are almost too dumb to live.

69- No. He has no faith in his generation because unfortunately, there are plenty of teens like OP that can't tell the difference between Spanish and Pig-Latin. Reading WAY too much into the comment, bud.

69- Why? Because our generation lives blissfully within ignorance, and "we" are generally content living life without the knowledge of other cultures. While I don't think everyone should necessarily be fluent in every language, they should be at least cognizant of foreign influences. Especially one as prominent as the Spanish language.

WOW - I don't think a person can possibly LESS Culturally Competent than you!! This is revolting!!!!!

¿You live in CALIFORNIA and you can't recognize español? That's truly insane, considering our proximity to the border and the large population of Spanish speaking people who live here!

Oh sorry I don't know why I always accidentally reply to people. Still an FML noob :)

If you live in Cali, you must think the city you live in and all the neighboring towns are gibberish. Did you know that Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Monterrey, Cupertino, Los Gatos and many others are not just random syllables?

I live in England, but I wouldn't recognise Old English, which is where a lot of place names come from.

You'd recognize that they came from Olde Englishe and weren't just a bunch of jibber-jabber. I'm not so sure about Welsh ;)

Tu eres una idiota mi amiga. ¿No puedes recognizar español en California?
