Today, I went for a jog. I had stopped at an intersection to let a car go by. The car stopped and the driver waved me on, so I started jogging again. After a few steps, I feel a sharp pain in my side, then wake up in the hospital. The driver 'accidentally' hit the gas. FML

To all, thanks for your concern. Don't worry, I'm fine, it was just a bad concussion when I hit the ground that knocked me out. I hope I don't disappoint anybody, but I am not going to sue. A few years in jail ought to be enough for the driver- it was a drunk. Luckily, there was a black and white across the street and got the driver in time. Again, thank you all for your concerns.

That actually happens to me alot while im running once i actually got hit by an elderly chinese woman (she wasn't helping any of her stereotypes!) but it still sucks... try jumping onto the hood if you can it hurts but you'll be ok instead of in the hospital!

Sounds like #51 is part of the "too fat to go outside" camp. If your foot is on the brake, lifting it up, moving it over, and stepping on the gas is not an accident. It's completely intentional. Even if it weren't, how the hell would this not be call for a lawsuit? "It was an accident" doesn't heal the wounds inflicted. Assault is assault.

Wow, that really sucks, I hope your alright. But I assume he'd stopped before hand to wave you on, how do you accidentally hit the gas? I hope you'll sue him.
