Today, I went into labor and got my husband drive me to the hospital. Instead of staying by my side, he rushed back home for a World of Warcraft raid. His excuse? His friends were counting on him and they'd be pissed if he let them down. FML

You can always have another kid. But that WoW raid will never happen again.

I'm not usually for divorce, but I'm also a big believer in the quote "When a person shows you who they are, believe them." So I'm pretty sure that relationship would be over for me. If he missed the birth imagine how many other things he won't be there for.

my thoughts exactly! not off to a great start, can't imagine how's the rest going to be :S FYL

That is disgusting. I would say, have the talk of a lifetime with him, see a counselor. If he does this kind of thing again after all that, then he gets to play WoW as he signs his child support checks.

he doesn't there's a war coming..from your dude after this...

I mean you should have knew he was a gamer at heart.

Are you suggesting that "gamers at heart" are all miserably bad at prioritizing? If so, I disagree.

I just can't imagine thinking it was a good idea to have a child with a man-child. You don't deserve this, but you should've seen it coming.

If it was Siege of Orgrimmar he has a bad taste in raids.

Cancel his subscription and bitch out his friends for it. Then threaten to end your marriage unless he starts putting you and your baby first. If he doesn't buck his ideas up, he can play WOW in his mom's basement and limit his contribution to his kid's life to child support.

I would divorce the shit out of him!!!! What a selfish prick!

Sounds like what my Dad did. Only he left my mom to go shopping for skis
