I think for any interview, unless it's for a piercing shop, you should always take your piercings out or at least put on a retainer until you know their policy. Tattoos are permanent but piercings not so much.

Sure it sucks but you should have know better. You were the one who had to look good, you failed and that's it.

Pretty bad since a piercing is easier to conceal versus a tattoo especially a full sleeve.

It also depends what type of piercing it was, if it was some big honking thing I'd have said the same thing.
