Today, I went on a second date with a guy who seemed perfect in every way possible. That is until he started mentioned how children are a deal-breaker for him. I had to break it to him that I have a 14 month old daughter. He actually had the balls to ask if I'd ever consider foster care. Seriously, dude? FML

Today, I was on a date, and I mentioned that I'm divorced, he was fine with that. I said I have two kids, he was fine with that. I mentioned the youngest is autistic, he was not fine with that, got up, and left so fast saying he wants nothing to do with kids like that. I was left with the bill. FML

Today, assuming he'd be okay with it, I brought my two kids with me on a first date, as I didn't want to pay for child care. My date made me pay for the kids' meals and my own, then blocked my number afterwards. FML

Today, the guy I’ve been seeing for a couple of months and started falling for told me his ex-girlfriend is pregnant with his child. I’m so bummed because kids and baby mamas are my number one deal-breaker. I really liked him too. FML

Today, we saw a woman with two out-of-control children. As we walked away, my husband said to me, “Disgusting, I’m glad we’re never having children.” News to me, he'd always said he wanted a kid before we married. An uncomfortable conversation is imminent, damn it. FML

Luckily you didn't waste much time on this guy before he turned jerky. It's one thing not to want kids and to consider them deal-breakers, but suggesting you get rid of your daughter is just beyond the pale. Hopefully you'll find a nice guy who will be perfectly happy to date a single mom.

His comment was douche-y, but I suspect he was reacting angrily to the fact that it was a SECOND date and you clearly hadn't once mentioned having a child. How did you meet? If it was online, it definitely should have been on your profile. Not wanting children is a perfectly valid choice, and "tricking" someone into dating you is going to piss someone off. I'm not surprised he said something dumb.
