Today, I went through my 15 year old daughter's internet history. On google she searched 'Excuses to get away from your dad' and 5 other variations of the same thing. We were supposed to be having a father daughter day tomorrow. FML

YDI for snooping. Give her some space -- she's growing up. ...On the other hand, though, FYL because of what you found.

More like FHL for having you snoop through her history. I bet you've got plenty of stuff you wouldn't want her to see.

YDI for not minding your own business. I always say don't go looking for things that you're not prepared to find. #102 angry teen boy?

You deserve it for going through her history. And for all of you about to angrily spam this with "OMG ITZ THE ONLY WAY 2 KEPP HER SAFE!!!" or something like that, I don't wanna hear. I don't care who does it, going through another persons history is wrong on like 10 different levels.

Y would u look through her history? YDI u had no right if she is 15 she can search wat she likes

Honestly if you're looking through her Internet history there's a problem eight there. **** her life.

Stop looking through her internet history.

This sounded oddly sexual to me, like she's trying to get away from a touchy feely father.

DameGreyWolf-Funny you should mention myspace. Last september, most of my friends had facebook, so I made one. A month later, when a friend was sleeping over, I saw my dad search *my name* facebook on google. It camd up, he saw, I got in a lot of trouble. Parents who are strict like that suck, so that's why its a YDI to the OP.

you need to trust her instead of reading her internet history. and do something fun that both of you would have a good time doing for father/daughter day, she obviously doesn't wanna do the thing you planned

You ******* deserved it for giving your daughter zero privacy. Asshole. You don't trust her huh? Some problems there...
