Today, I went through with my elaborate plans to propose to my girlfriend with creativity. I took her skydiving and proposed in midair. She rejected it. Why? She wanted a more "traditional" proposal. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend, whom I'm madly in love with, by having a plane fly over her house spelling "Marry me Abby?" After seeing it, she locked herself in her room and cried for hours, exclaiming that this wasn't how she wanted to be proposed to. I'd invited my entire family. FML

Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 3 years. I got reservations for a romantic dinner, and at the end, fireworks would spell out my proposal. The whole thing had taken weeks to plan out and had cost me a lot of money. She proposed to me at a subway station first. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend from the top of a bungee jumping platform at an amusement park. I yelled out, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" from the platform, pointing her out. Turns out, I was pointing at the wrong girl. My girlfriend was very angry and ran away when the wrong girl yelled, "Yes!" FML

Sucks, to go through all that preparation and to be rejected. She doesnt deserve to be with you if she can't understand all the work you went through for that proposal.

Omg that's such a cool an creative way to propose! I'd probably actually think about getting married when I'm older if I knew I'd get a proposal like that. I think it's dumb that she wouldn't say yes because it didn't go the way SHE wanted.

god I hate that people should be glad with the stuff they're given I was watching 'say yes to the dress' where this chick was proposed to and she said no because 'it wasn't the ring she wanted' I understand if you're not ready but I mean seriously come on the dude had the guts to propose and did a lot of planning and you say no I mean think about how that might make him feel besides that this one wasn't 'traditional' like she wanted it to be, she has no other reason!
