Today, I went to a concert with my boyfriend. I was repeatedly ass-grabbed, grinded on and hit on by guys. My boyfriend's response was, "As long as they continue to bring you free beer, let them get a little feel of what they are paying for." FML

It's the fact that she was surrounded by men who were inappropriately touching and GROPING her, and the ONE person who I suppose she was depending on to help her stand up for herself against A LARGE GROUP OF ROWDY MEN WHO HAD BEEN DRINKING, who, according to statistics, would likely be much larger and weigh more than her; decided that it was okay for her to be treated as an object with NO RIGHTS TO HER OWN BODY. She's there with her boyfriend. If she's accepting drinks from random dudes, she is actively trying to piss off her boyfriend. Were I her man, I'd have told her the same thing - if you don't want their attention, why are you asking for it? I don't bite that bait. You want to play those kinds of games, woman, there's a door, use the damn thing.

The fml doesn't say that she kept taking free beers. It says guys kept bringing her free beers. Her boyfriend was probably drinking most of them so he told her to just ignore being molested so he could keep drinking.

Even if she did accept a beer or two, that would not entitle anyone to grope her. Using that logic, you can easily defend parents or teachers who sexually assault girls with "But look at all they did for her! They earned it!"
