The op obviously didn't let them know the contacts were in the cup, so she is the only one responsible for them being thrown away. And even if she had made it known, and it was over looked, thats not really a reason to sue someone...
You should have pointed the lenses out to her the moment she walked in - you know, like a normal person who isn't an idiot. And yes, why did you take them out anyways?

why do you need to take your contacts out for a facial? My husband keeps his in even when he goes for a nap (and no, they're not special sleeping contacts). He wouldn't keep them in if he was going to bed at night, but you can close your eyes or even nap with them in.
bet that's not the first time she's been blinded after a facial. wakawaka.
