If you don't like that he plays games...don't date a gamer. I spent my night last night taking my PS3 over to my boyfriend's house so I could teach him to play Dragon Age to prep him for the sequel coming out...There are plenty of us out there that would be happy with a gamer, so don't date one or don't complain :)
I have a boyfriend like that too.:/ haha.
I HAD a boyfriend like that for 3 years and in that time I would always sit there and watch him and his friends play and some occasions I would actually play. We're no longer together mostly because of that.
that's pretty much how my ex was. played xbox allllllll day and hardly paid any mind to me
you should be grateful because he had to suffer for 10 minutes without his xbox tsk tsk ungrateful lol
This is why it's better if gamers date gamers. my boyfriend plays a lot of WoW, xbox and PS3, but so do I.
Yea feel lucky he even stopped for you.
It's funny when people try and give real advice to these comments. Half of them are fake.
Right. I would like to point out a flaw in your scolding spree there. OP's boyfriend gaming is not the equivalent of OP having a girls' night. As implied, a girls' night is a girls' night and therefore he would be going over uninvited. OP was likely invited over that night, however, otherwise she wouldn't have so much reason to complain. Not to mention, I've been dating a gamer for more than two years now, and am aware of the fact that hardcore gamers will be gaming whenever there isn't something they deem more important to do. So the boyfriend's gaming is a probably a daily thing, which girls' nights generally are not.

At least he cared enough to stop.
10 whole minutes? Plus he made it sound like a chore. And told all these strangers. Not cool. Leave him to his games.
