Didn't they disprove that this could happen on Mythbusters? They said that pants, no matter how tight, that if you get them on, and even shrink them in hot water after they're on, won't pinch nerves...
I think (not a hundred percent sure) that they were testing the idea that tight jeans can cut off circulation, not pinch a nerve. I love mythbusters, but their methodology is not always appropriate for drawing conclusions. They tend to be case studies with few replications, and are thus not reliable findings... but it's still a totally awesome show, Adam and Jamie are pretty badass
FYL for having a Doctor that tells it like it is? How about.. oh I don't know.. losing some weight? Shit, it's society's inability to address the overweight bluntly that makes everyone feel like it's completely not their fault, and that they are in need of special treatment. Bullshit. It's nobody's fault but yours. /Endrant
Wasn't this on an episode of House?
Hahaha that happened to me but only cause I was sitting on the couch for 3 days straight after surgery. It can happen to anyone who is even slightly overweight so dont feel bad. Mine is still numb but the burning tingling stopped months ago. You have to lose enough weight to loosen the pelvis so the nerve can come out. I need to lose like 5 more pounds
PFFT HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
man try looser pants
Baggy pants! They're supposed to be baggy pants!
lol! classic! people wearing jeans a size smaller in an attempt to make them look skinnier but they only end up looking like sausages. total ydi.... no doubt abt it.

i've actually read about something like that, and it doesnt necessarily mean you're fat/too big for your pants. anything tight on your leg, like leggings or skinny jeans or just tight/fitted jeans in general can pinch your nerve, causing the numbness and tingling you described. its rare, but becoming more and more common. hope that makes you feel better :)
DAMN SON!
