You never go out without your wallet. Anything could happen and you would be left between a rock and a hard place without it. Then you would be left stranded and embarrassed smh that's basic dating philosophy even if it was the right thing for him to pay you never ever put yourself in that kind of position!!
Never assume.
As a man, I would be ashamed to have a girl whom I asked out to pay for herself.
Lose him!
When you assume you make an ass out of u and me.
Shame on everyone who said she deserved it. If he asked her out, he should pay. It's a problem with our society that we don't have enough real men nor real ladies. We have way too many Wusses and b!tches
So your definition of 'real lady' is someone who expects men to do or pay for everything for her? I'm glad there aren't enough of them.
I'm a woman and I don't think the definition of a "real man" includes being extorted by women who've cottoned on that they can get free stuff out of men. People should not have to pay in exchange for romance; that's what escorts are for. Don't get me wrong, a date offering to pay is a lovely and generous act - but gracefully accepting this offer and leaving your purse at home are two different matters entirely.
yeah we should not work, us women ! The idea men should pay is because women couldn't work or shouldn't in the eye of society

Never, ever, assume
Contrary to popular belief it's ignorant to be so confident in this "rule" that you don't bring your own money, I believe it was totally deserved in this case. This doesn't mean I don't believe the guy should pay though so don't get confused.
