Seriously a douchebag, wow. And to all those people saying that if the roles were reversed the woman would have said the same thing, that's not entirely true. Has our society become so unsympathetic that you can say that with full conviction?
I'm sorry. I know exactly how you feel. It's really screwed over. I don't think it's a sexist thing. It's a rude thing.
I see nothing wrong with this. Put on the big girl panties and make that dude some breakfast.
I hope you're feeling better. Just remember that nightmares aren't real, and you're fine, so be thankful, and get on with your day. (:
@100: We should be fair everywhere. As for double standards? I hate being paid for. I don't care for flowers or gifts "for no reason". I hold the door open for others and only like opening it for myself. Domestic abuse is wrong both ways, but of course it's more common for women to be the object of violence. No one should be hitting anyone in a relationship. As for chivalry- that hardly exists anymore. The modern definition of this value means not objectifying women as body parts, or not expecting them to be the traditional housewife.

Isn't it ironic how he tells YOU to grow up, yet he wants someone to go cook him breakfast like he's a little kid who needs his mommy to do things for him. If anyone needs to grow up, it's your immature, insensitive 5 year old boyfriend.
tell him to make his own damn breakfast!
