I feel really sorry for you, OP. One of our two dogs had a uterus infection just two days ago, I haven't been that hysterical since my grandfather died ten years ago, I was so afraid she'd die. She got an operation and are going to be just fine, but just the thought of losing her almost killed me, so I can't even imagine how you must feel. FYL.
