Today, I woke up to find a tick stuck to my eyelashes. The only way I know of to get it off is with fire. FML

Fire is how you kill them. You can get them off with tweezers. Just make sure you don't leave ANY part of the tick inside of your skin or on your eyelash or whatever.

holy crap your stupid! that's a leech you have to take off with fire! you can just pull a tick off then look at its head and make sire it has all of its pieces! then go outside and step on it! it'll pop and bam! its dead! really? y'all need some country livin tips!

With fire? WTH? First time I heard that was here on FML. There ARE other options. You could just google it. You can oil it I think. Or pull it out whole.

you could try to suffocate It by putting baby oil around the head or if that isn't possible for whatever get a friend if possible, use the blunt end of a fork, heat it for a few seconds with a cigarette lighter and touch the tick carefully with the hot end and it will detach
