Today, I woke up to find my power was out. After taking a shower in the dark and being unable to make myself lunch, my power came on two minutes before I had to leave for school. FML

Well that sucks but at least it came back on. I had an ice storm a couple of years ago and was without power for a week. Thank God I had a generator, but still. Be grateful that the power came back at all, and that you managed to shower. And now you can make lunch! Sounds like you're crying over spilled milk.

My power went out for 40 hours one time, and I live a few minutes from Dallas. Stop your bitching. You have no idea what it's like to run out of batteries, lack internet, denied television, and dead phones for about two days. Feels so isolated that even a caveman could do it. **** TXU.
