Today, it was my first day as an animal control officer. My first dispatch was to collect a dog that had been hit by a car. I had to clean up my dead dog on my first day of a job that barely pays rent. FML

Today, I started my community service at the dog pound. I like animals so I thought it would be a good place to do it. As I arrived they were throwing dogs that had been euthanized into a dump truck to be taken to a landfill. That was my job for the day. FML

Today, at my minimum wage job, we received a half-way decomposed dog found in a lake. It was my job to tear open the bag and try to identify the breed and color. It would've been easier if the body wasn't crawling with maggots. FML

Time for lunch in the parking lot

Today, I started my first day of work at our local humane society. I asked where the break room was, so my coworker directed me to a small room in the back of the building. The only place I get to take my lunch break is the same room where they euthanize, freeze, and cremate the animals. FML

Today, I adopted a dog from the local shelter. I put the dog in the car and he was shedding everywhere, but I was ok with that because he was my dog. As I pulled into the parking lot, the dog began to poop in the backseat of my car. When I got him out of the car, he ran off. $100 for him to poop and run away. FML

Really? No, honestly were does it anywhere in the post HE killed his dog....really, just really? Yes could have left it outside on a leesh and the dog could have broke free, but thats doesn't mean its only his fault. If Op had to be gone for a long time the dog wouldn't be able to the bathroom withput taking a dump on his stuff. so....really?

So many clueless people like you wandering through life without a thought in their head. This could have been prevented by OP being a responsible pet owner and making sure his dog wasn't running loose.
