Ok, yes I am a teenager. The reason I was so upset over him not doing anything for our 6 months together was because he made sure I got him a present, and told me a bunch of times that he was planning something fun. So he got my hopes up for nothing. Then when I got sad about it, he got mad at me and pretty much ignored me.

Anniversary (from the Latin anniversarius, from the words for year and to turn, meaning (re)turning yearly. It barely even ******* matters until you're getting into the many years. We don't celebrate it because it's at 00:00 01/01. And I'm pissed at that exact moment every ******* year.

Yes he was a dick and fyl but maybe there was something very wrong happened to him between the "I'm planning something fun" and "I'm going to spend time with my mum after I made you feel disapointed"? Anyway, if so, he could have bothered telling you. You are his girlfriend and should be the first he would think of when needing help
He's a jerk and sounds like a user also, trying to get a gift with no intentions of giving one. Get rid of him and move on to bigger and better things. You're so young, you'll be glad you did it hon.

okay, everyone shut up about 6 months not technically being an anniversary!!! JESUS CHRIST!!! She's young! this is probably her first boyfriend so 6 months is a big deal!!! jeeze! and she didn't say for our 2 year, 6 month anniversary or 1 year 4 month anniversary.. it's just the first 6months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's not like she wants something once a month, its just that first 1/2 year is big to some couples--esp when you're young.. and for people saying she's too young to be on fml.. it makes more sense for younger people to be on here.. 1. they have funnier stories 2. they don't have JOBS and RESPONSIBILITIES....lots of free time to play on the web. like i said.. he's a ******* nut job.. find a new one. or at least get rid of this one!!!!
