Today, my 3 year old kid wanted to do something nice. I told him he could pick up some of his toys. He washed my new Iphone instead. FML

Today, I had my son do some chores around the house. I was fairly proud of him for doing it himself, until he told me he accidentally washed his Nintendo in his sheets, and now it doesn’t work. I can’t afford a new one and he now refuses to do chores because, “I did and look what happened!” FML

Today, I went to visit some family out of state for my niece's birthday. I couldn't think of what to get an 8-year-old so I got her a Barbie doll. Everyone else got her money, iPods, game consoles, etc. When she got to mine she asked "how do I turn it on?" Then threw it away when she couldn't. FML

Today, my 3-year-old son put into practice the lesson I taught him yesterday, about how to use a larger piece of Play-Doh to pick up smaller bits. Unfortunately, he used this method to pick up a small bit of poo from his pants with a larger bit of poo direct from the toilet. I was an hour late for work. FML

#43--the kid specifically said he wanted to do something nice. He wasn't being made to clean anything. How exactly does that sound like he was mad?? #48--um..IT'S A 3-YEAR-OLD!! He can't exactly think about it being a bad thing to put a phone in water!!! People are saying it was a nice thing, in a way, because the kid was attempting to do something he thought was nice (again, he's THREE so in his mind cleaning something-anything!-would be nice for his parent!) OP: Definitely was cute lol....maybe now's a good chance to start teaching him about things that can't go in water lol
