Today, my aunt came into the world. My 67 year-old grandfather married a 24 year-old woman who just gave birth to my new aunt, who is 18 years younger than me. FML

I'd be more concerned with what a young girl like that wants with your grandfather. Can you say Anna Nicole Smith?

Ewwwwwwww... this should be on the jerry springer show!!!

Who cares? Your grandfather and his wife are happy, you should too. Stop your bitching, this isn't an FML.

Why do you think this is an FML? Stop being such a ******* self-centered brat and consider your grandpa's feelings. It's an awkward situation to be in, but grow up and accept it. Congratulate your step-'grandmother' on the birth of their daughter and welcome them into the family. Everything isn't about you.

Shut the **** up. You are missing the point, a 60 something year old man with a 24 year old. They have a baby that is DISGUSTING, robbing the cradle!

meepmeep is probably in the same situation. An old man chasing after 24 y/o girls. ;)

Pathetic comeback. But people who got so unnecessarily over-defensive amuse me, so thanks for that. You're my "fail" post for today.

I disagree with the huge age difference between a couple simply because I feel terribly sorry for the child. Imagine the child in 15 years time - as a teenager, she'll have a dad who's 82. He might have even died by then, or before then. Or if he was alive... imagine how she'd be bullied at school, not to mention how weird and uncomfortable that situation would be... *shudders* I'm trying to imagine myself in that situation and it actually scares me :O So it's more of an FML for the baby... although I can still see how awkward a situation it would be for the OP

Umm...that's unusual. Maybe a bit weird. Congratulations? Haha I can't imagine how I'd feel in your situation.

well...what you could do is start calling the 24 year old grandmother....that should help...make her feel old
