Today, my best friend, the man who I've been in love with for nine years, finally told me he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me. Unfortunately, it was while he was using me to practice proposing to his girlfriend. FML

Well... look, you said he knows but you are willing to make some sacrifices to keep him in your life. Why not make the best of it? Why not keep trying? I'm not saying make him cheat on his girlfriend then go back to her--I'm saying simply this: you've been trying for 9 years SOMETHING must have gotten through. Things can happen fast, and at any point in time. Why simply give up hope? So what if this is real life? Why couldn't there be a fairy-tale ending for you if you really love him? Life is what YOU make of it. If you look at your life as depressing, then everything will be depressing. Why not face this as a challenge and hold your head up high? Even if it does work in the long run you can show pride i nthe fact you went down fighting. Basically, just don't give up hope. You never know what the future holds.

wear the bra on the outside for once, you should have mustered up the courage a long time ago to tell him that. Obviously he doesnt mean enough for you to tell him how you feel...especially becuase you are "best friends" and never said a word. You completely deserved it. The hard reality of love is, that if u truly love him, you'll let him be happy with his fiancee. But if things dont work out between them, tell him how u really feel.

I really hope that this isn't me someday...b/c honestly I run this risk....YDI for not saying nothing sooner it's horrible after nine year you still are afraid to him how you feel......you have to tell him before its to late!!!!
