Today, my boyfriend and I were driving around town in his car. To my surprise he took me out to lunch. As we were leaving, a girl walks up and asks if he had room for one more for a ride, sadly he only has two seats in his car. Guess who had to walk! FML

Today, my boyfriend wanted to take me out on a date. He doesn't have a car, but he said he'd borrow transport from his neighbor. He showed up at my house on a ride-on lawn mower. FML

Today, I invited my girlfriend to go eat out, hoping to put her in a really romantic mood. She decided to tell her friend, who then invited herself and another couple along. I ended up being made fifth wheel, and had to sit alone at an adjacent table. FML

The night consisted of me sitting in the back seat of his friend's truck while they drove around to pick up things for the party they were going to have that same night. If he has the gall to get in touch with you again, hang up the phone or don't answer the page or whatever. If you see him -- no, you don't; you're looking through air. It is really important that you not allow someone to treat you like this. And if it slips by because in the moment, you can't believe what is happening, you either need to scream at them or dump them, not mutually exclusive BTW. We teach other people how to treat us, a very hard-won bit of knowledge on my part, but well worth it.
