Wow I'm sure there is medicine you can take to stop you from having allergic reactions to things such as cats. Even though you just found out you're allergic to cats, if you didn't think of the medicine and just let him dump you, which is what I'm assuming then YDI. If for some reason there is no medicine for cat allergies or you couldn't get any then FYL

Allergic reactions can't be stopped, especially for one constantly in the presence of an allergy like cat dander, but it can be controlled with antihistamine, nasal sprays, allergy shots and sense such as keeping cats out of the allergic person's bedroom, etc.
